PDP Migrant Cell delegation calls on Bukhari

JAMMU, Dec 19: A delegation of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Minority Cell delegation led by its president Ashok Sidha today called on Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Bhasharat Bukhari here and discussed various issued pertaining to Kashmiri migrants with him.
As per a release, Sidha demanded that the date of filling of DBT forms be extended for one month as most of the migrants don’t have Aadhar Cards as well as PAN Cards.
The Minister gave on spot directions to concerned officers and urged them to extend the date for filling up of DBT forms by one month.
General secretary of the Minority Cell R K Pardesi also discussed the issue of DBT and complimented the Minister for easing out the process for bifurcation of ration cards.
The PM Package employees who also accompanied Sidha in delegation made a plea to the Minister for release of their salaries which are pending for last four months.
The Minister issued on spot instructions to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir B A Khan and urged him to collect the certificates from all the DDOs within two days that the salaries of the migrants have been disbursed up to November, 2016.
Pardesi also took up the issue of candidates who have been interviewed under PM package by SSRB a long time back but till date the selection list was not issued. The Minister also gave instructions to chairperson of SSRB that the list be framed at an earliest.
