JAMMU, Mar 23: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Migrant Cell in a meeting here, today held under the leadership of Ramesh Kaul chairman of the Cell made an appeal to displaced people from Valley to vote for Party candidates in the by-elections of Lok Sabha seats of Srinagar and Anantnag Parliamentary Constituencies.
The meeting was also addressed by A K Sidha president of the Cell, R K Pardesi its general secretary, A K Raina press secretary and Sunil Bhat organizing secretary.
Some resolutions were passed on the occasion and the strategy for the campaigning was also discussed. The meeting said that besides holding the public meetings in migrant localities, the teams of party activists will visit Delhi and other areas appealing migrants to participate in large number in the elections and ensure victory of coalition candidates Tasaduk Mufti and Nazir Ahmed Khan both of PDP.
The election committees for both the constituencies were also framed in the meeting. Others who were present include M K Raina, Nana Ji Wattal, Sunil Bali, Sahab Ji, Durga Nath, M K Bhat, Barat Bushan, C L Bhat, Chaman Lal Dhar, Veer Ji Raina, Anu Ji, Ravinder Zutshi, P N Zutshi, Ramesh Wazir, R L Teng etc.
