JAMMU, Aug 30: Peddlers displayed extraordinary skill and showed promise to vie for the top honours in the ongoing 3rd 11 Sports Inter-School TT Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Table Tennis Association at TT Hall, Indoor Complex, NA Stadium, here.
In junior girls team championship, DPS defeated Model Academy 3-0 and Heritage Public School blanked their rival 3-0, while in senior girls team championship, GD Goenka outplayed APS Domana 3-0 and DPS drubbed Model Academy 3-0.
In junior boys team championship, KC International School lost to their rival 3-0, Jodhamal Public School trounced their rival 3-0 and KV No-1 Gandhi Nagar thrashed GD Goenka 3-0, while in senior boys team championship, KC Public School outclassed JKPS 3-0, National Academy Udhampur beat KV No-1 Gandhi Nagar 3-2 and Jodhamal Public school prevailed over KC International School 3-1.
The finals of the championship will commence tomorrow from3.30 pm to be followed by Prize Distribution Ceremony, wherein Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly will be the chief guest.
