Pedestrian arrested with illicit liquor pouches

RAMBAN, Sept 26: Pounichak police arrested a pedestrian along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Ramban police station laid a naka near T-Morh, Shaheedi Chowk and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 36 pouches of illicit liquor pouches from the possession of the person and nabbed him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Qayoom, son of Abdul Razak, a resident of Sangaldhan.
A case under Excise Act has been registered at Ramban police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Naveen Angral made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Mohammd Rafiq Choudhary and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
