UDHAMPUR, Nov 17: A pedestrian died after he was hit by motorcycle while the motorcyclist also sustained critical injuries in the mishap that took place near Modi Ground, bypass National Highway in Udhampur.
The deceased has been identified as Baldev Singh (56), son of Dharam Singh of Kotli Balla Udhampur while the injured motorcyclist, who was on way from Doda to Jammu, was identified as Amit Kumar (28), son of Lekh Raj of Anjna Doda.
The injured was admitted to District Hospital Udhampur, where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu.
