SAMBA, June 3: A pedestrian was injured after hit by a car at Maheshwar area of Samba near here today.
The injured has been identified as Bihari Mani, son of Karchu Mani resident of Bihar at present in Katli area of Samba. The mishap took place at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near Maheshwar area of Samba district, when a car bearing Registration No JK02BA- 7283 which was on the way of Jammu from Kathua, on reaching near Maheshwar suddenly hit a pedestrian, as result he got injured. He was brought to District Hospital Samba for treatment but doctors referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for further treatment.
In this regard police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
