Peepal Tree School organizes fancy dress competition-cum-magic show

JAMMU, Sept 23: Peepal Tree School, Lower Roop Nagar, organised fancy dress competition-cum-magic show in the school premises. The kids from play way to Ist standard participated in the competition.
The participants were dressed in natural costumes like fruits, vegetables, some of them were reflecting animals and birds. Some kids gave the message of saving trees by wearing trees, plants and flowers as their themes in the costumes. The children also were dressed as postman, doctor, spider man etc.
The children were dressed in their colorful dresses for each theme and spoke a few lines on the character that they depicted.
The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the little ones by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of an audience.
The judges praised the kids for their efforts and wonderful costumes.
Trustee of the school Atul Gopal and Aakash Deep Singh gave prizes to the top three winners and all the participants were also encouraged by giving prizes.
The magic show was followed up by the competition. The magician showcased a great show with comedy and magic. The magician performed various tricks like converting the stick into the flower, water magic, egg magic etc. The magician entertained the kids and showed advance performances and techniques. The magician also performed the mathemagic by testing the minds of the children.
