JAMMU, Oct 9: Peer Monga Nath 68th Vishal Dangal was organized by Chib Sabha Kandi Belt Barn Jammu at Village Patta Khoo, here.
Daljeet Singh, Vice Chairman, Kissan Advisory Welfare Board was the chief guest on the occasion, while PDP leader Thakur Suram Singh was the guest of honour.
Rubal Singh of Punjab defeated Binya Amin of J&K Police, Jassa Bhatti of Punjab got better of Bhupinder Singh of Punjab and Laloo Pahalwan of Jammu defeated Sukh Chain of Punjab.
A total of 120 bouts were held during the event.
The chief guest distributed prizes of Rs 1, 51,000, Rs 1, 11, 000 and Rs 81, 000 among the winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions.
The dangal was organized under the supervision of Dalbir Singh, Sarpanch Barn, Capt Raghubir Singh Chib, Th Kuldeep Singh, Th Neelam Singh, Th Chanchal Singh and Shiv Paul Singh.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were former MLA Bharat Bhushan and Sarpanches and Panches of Bhalwal Block.
