KATHUA, Mar 21: Provincial Electrical Employees Union (PEEU) Hiranagar held a meeting today under the chairmanship of Hardarshan Singh to discuss the outcome of recent meeting held by Union with the Principal Secretary Power.
The meeting said the demands highlighted before the Principal Secretary included amendment in service recruitment rules, re-organisation of PDD and PDC, regularization of daily wagers who have seven years service, creation of posts for them, grant of Risk Allowance, framing of policy in terms of SRO 64 -1994, insurance cover to PDD employees working in risk prone areas and payment of ex-gratia on spot to Rs three lakh.
The meeting was informed that all the demands in principal were agreed by the Principal Secretary. The meeting among others was attended by Joginder Kumar, Mohinder Singh, Amarjeet, Ganesh Kumar and Durga Dass.
Meanwhile provincial president of the Union P C Sharma has appealed the people to cooperate with the power employees in revenue realization. He also urged the employees to work with full dedication in brining more revenue to the Department.
