JAMMU, Dec 9: A felicitation ceremony was organized today to honour the medal winners of the Pencak Silat Prep Teen, Sub-Junior, and Junior categories, who recently participated in the National Championship 2024, as well as the All India Pencak Silat Championship held at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium.
The event was graced by prominent dignitaries, including Yudhvir Sethi, MLA Jammu East; Gourav Gupta, Secretary of Jammu Club; Rakesh Singh Jamwal, SHO Pacca Danga Police Station; Rakesh Khanna, President of Prem Nath Dogra Football Academy; and Arun Singh, Sher-e-Kashmir State Awardee. The distinguished guests presented medals to the winners and congratulated them for their outstanding achievements in the competitions.
Special recognition was given to the athletes’ coach, Manvi Katal, an International medalist, for her unwavering dedication in training and mentoring the young athletes. The winners, including Rudransh Sanyal, Amaya Sanyal, Mahika Sharma, and others, were celebrated for their determination and excellence in securing medals in their respective categories.
