Pensioners criticize Govt for not fulfilling demands

JAMMU, Nov 22: All J&K State Pensioner Association, Jammu has criticized the State Government for not solving the problems of the pensioners, today.
A press conference of the State Pensioner’s Association was held under the chairmanship of  Madan Lai Abrol general secretary wherein the Association criticized the State Government for not solving the problems of the pensioners. The association asserted that the Government has not taken serious step regarding quantum of pension to the retired persons after attaining the age of 80,85,90,95, 100 and above at the rate of 10%,20%,40% and 100% which has been given to the pensioners of Central Government in the year 2009, installment of sixth pay commission which is pending with the Government has not been released yet.
Abrol said  DA @10% and 7% has also not been released yet. The medical allowance be raised to Rs 1000 per month as the cost of the medicines have been increased. The speakers held that like Lok Sabha election, coalition Government will be defeated everywhere.
The Association appealed all the pensioners of the State that they should not vote to the coalition partners who are befooling the pensioners for the last 6 years.
Those who attended the press conference were  Mukh Raj Sharma, Ved Prakash, Dev Raj Gupta, S D Verma and Yash Paul Sansan,  Dev Raj Baru thanks the pensioners and asked them to unite for the further struggle.
