JAMMU, Sept 25: J&K State Pensioners Association here today demanded exemption of Income Tax from the pensioners getting pension upto Rs 8 lakh per annum.
In a handout Karan Singh, Association president said that pensioners should also be given other benefits like payment of DA arrears of the period from January to June 2019.
He also demanded health insurance cover for the pensioners with affordable annual premium and raise on Medical Allowance from the existing Rs 300 to Rs 1000.
