SRINAGAR, Apr 29: BJP JK UT president today said that people of Kashmir should vote for those candidates and parties who are patriotic to core and give preference to national interests over their party and self interests.
In an informal chat with media persons Raina said the candidates who have integrity are hones to the core and have spirit of serving people especially poor and down trodden, love and respect all alike should be supported by the masses in the ensuing Parliamentary elections.
Without naming the candidates or parties, he said BJP stands for nationalism and it will support the nationalist and patriotic forces in Kashmir too to fight the divisive forces. “The people should support honest, dedicated and selfless candidates who have the spirit to serve the people with missionary zeal and are men of integrity,” he added.
Raina said BJP is the most popular party in J&K and it lives in people’s heart. From Uri Lagama, Keran and Teetwal, Gurez and Tangdar to Shopian and Banihal, Bureau to Sonamarg the people of Kashmir love BJP. They know BJP’s Mantra is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. They have seen through the game plan of dynastic parties who ruined J&K and have developed a faith and trust in BJP who under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi is serving people 24x7x365 with a missionary zeal. BJP stands for nation first, party second and self third and party sticks to this principle.
He said the people of Kashmir including Gujjars, Bakerwals and other minorities in Valley know whom to vote and support. They will only support those candidates and parties who give first preference to national interests, he added.
