SAMBA, Sept 8: Local people under the banner of JKNPP today staged a protest demonstration demanding construction of a fly over across the busy railway gate in Vijaypur near here today.
The protesters led by senior Panthers leader Rajesh Padgotra raised slogans against Railway authorities and Central Government and said that the fly over on railway track is long pending demand of locals but nothing has been done in this regard. “We demand the fly over near Gurha Morh Railway crossing be constructed immediately”, he stated.
“The railway crossing leading to Gurha Slathia village has become unsafe with several commuters meeting with accidents. The railways authorities should construct over bridge at earliest so that more tragic incidents could not happen,” senior JKNPP leader added.
