LONDON, Nov 16: Country star Taylor Swift has admitted she gave up on men because she wanted people to focus more on her music.
The ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker said after her relationship with One Direction’s Harry Styles ended in early 2013, she made a conscious decision to ensure that the public would focus less of their attention on her love life, reported Contactmusic.
“It broke my heart! I was selling out stadiums and it was all people talked about,” she said.
Swift’s new album sold more than one million copies in the first week, and she’s delighted the world is interested in her vocal talents, rather than her relationships.
“Now people talk less about the things that don’t matter,” she said. (PTI)
