JAMMU, Oct 18: PG Arts lifted the Inter-College Football (Men) Tournament by defeating ASCOMS by (5-2) in the final match played today at Sports Stadium, University of Jammu.
For PG Arts, 1st goal was scored by Ayush in 18th minute, 2nd by Raza in 25th minute and 3rd by Ayush in 29th minute. The 4th goal was scored by Dilbar in 31st minute while 5th goal was scored by Gagandeep Singh in 51st minute.
For ASCOMS, both the goals were scored by Syed Shahaan in 40th and 46th minute, respectively.
The matches were officiated by Ricky, Aman Banathia, Dheeraj Kumar, and Taran Pal Singh. The tournament was conducted by Gagan Kumar, Football Coach, University of Jammu, and organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education (DSPE), University of Jammu (JU), under the direct supervision of the Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, DSPE, JU, Jammu.
The chief guest on the occasion, Prof Mohan Pal Singh Ishar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, awarded the trophy to the winner team.
