JAMMU, May 13: Maintaining the past glory of exceptional performance in similar competitions, the Government PG College Rajouri excelled in the Annual Training Camp (ATC) for girls at Nagrota winning a record 30 medals.
The 10-day camp held from May two to May 12 under the guidance of Associate NCC Officer, Lt. Dr. Shafia Saleem. While Asia Malik, Rahat Mirza and Rashda Riaz won first, second and third place respectively in Shooting competitions, Nehirkha Gupta, Rashda Riaz and Falak Naz were first, second and third in Poster Making.
Similarly, in Drill competition, Reenu Devi, Asia Malik, Nehirkha Gupta got first, second and third place respectively. In Line Area Competition, Shazima Charak Rajput got first place; in Dance, Assia Malik and Shazima Charak won first and second prize respectively. In Tug of War, the team of Reenu Devi, Shazima Charak, Assia Malik, Jozy Kouser, Rafia Kouser, Nehirkha Gupta, Falak Naz, Refit Kouser, Shazia Akhter, Tazeem Kouser, Rashda Riaz and Sanam Kouser got first prize.
In Anchoring, Shazima Charak got first prize, whereas in Piloting, Rahat Mirza and Zarina Kouser secured first and second prize respectively.
On their return, these medal winners were appreciated by the Principal, Dr JA Qazi and ANO, Lt. Dr Shafia Saleem for outstanding performance in the camp.
