JAMMU, Dec 8: PG Department of Jammu University outplayed Government College for Women Udhampur by 17-10 and lifted Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho Women trophy in the ongoing Inter Collegiate Kho-Kho (Women) tournament 2023-24 organized by Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu at University Kho-Kho Ground.
Earlier, in the semi-final matches GCW Udhampur defeated GDC Ramnagar by 10 points with match score of (20-10) while PG. Department JU defeated GDC Kathua by 5 points with a match score of 15-10.
Dr Vinod Bakshi, Incharge Director Sports Cluster University Jammu was the chief guest of the final match who awarded trophies and medals to the winner and runner up teams in the presence of Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Vimal Kishore, Dr Dinesh Sharma, Dr Vikesh Kumar, Dr Mukesh Kumar and many others. The matches were officiated by Dheeraj Sharma, Anil Kumar, Palbinder Singh,Pooja Sharma and Gagan Kumar.
