JAMMU, Oct 15: Defeating SPMR College of Commerce convincingly in the title clash, PG Department lifted the title trophy of the Inter-Collegiate Tennis (Men) Tournament 2015-16 held at University Sports Stadium, here today.
Earlier, PG Department defeated SPMR College of Commerce by (2-0) sets.
Shrawan trounced Prateek Bhogal by 6-4, 7-5 in singles, while in doubles, Shrawan and Arjun Dev Verma drubbed Prateek and Ravi by (6-4, 6-3). The winning trophy was awarded by Prof. Dhian S. Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Raj Kumar Bakshi, Jai Bharat, Amit Sharma, Dr. Brij Baloria and Romesh Sharma. Match was officiated by Gourav Sharma, Manmohan and Pushap Thakur, while the Tournament was conducted by Ravish Vaid, Table Tennis coach and Incharge Tennis Tournament.
