JAMMU, Sept 18: PG Department once again showed its supremacy and clinched the title by defeating GDC Kathua in the title clash of the ongoing inter-Collegiate Wrestling (Men) championship 2015-16, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at its Gymnasium, here.
Prof NK Tripathi, former, Dean Students Welfare, University of Jammu was the chief guest and awarded the trophy to the winners on the occasion.
Prof. Dhian S. Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu presided over the function. Amit Sharma, Jasvant Singh and Rakesh Verma (Contractual Lecturers Department of Physical Education), Raj Kumar Bakshi, Gagan Kumar, Vikas Karlopia and PD Singh were also present on the occasion.
The tournament was organized under the supervision of Prof. Bhau.
All the bouts were conducted under the supervision of Jai Bharat, Incharge Wrestling Championship 2015-16.
The bouts were officiated by Mr. Mulkh Raj Sharma (NIS), Sahil Sharma (NIS), Bansi Lal Tidyal, Dr. Kamal Sharma, Dheeraj Sharma (NIS).
