JAMMU, Dec 11: Defeating their rivals convincingly in the semifinals, PG Department, University of Jammu and Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua today qualified for the finals of the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament and will lock horns with each other in the title clash on December 15, 2014, here.
Earlier, in the first semifinal, PG Department defeated GDC Akhnoor by 21 points (40-19), while in another semifinal, GDC Kathua thrashed SPMR Commerce College by 34 points (53-19).
The matches were officiated by Anil Sharma, Ankush Gupta, Keshav Singh , Harpreet Singh, Amandeep Singh, Ankush Sharma and Gagan Kumar.
Prof B R Gupta, Principal GDC Kathua was present on the occasion.
The Tournament is being conducted under the supervision of Prof Dhain S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
