JAMMU, Nov 20: In the Inter-Collegiate Boxing (M&W) Championship for the academic year 2024-25 organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, the Overall Championship trophy in Men section was clinched by PG Department JU with 34 points. The Runner-up Trophy was bagged by GDC Doda.
Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was chief guest on the occasion.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Vimal Kishore, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar, P.D Singh, Jai Bharat, Harinderpal Singh, Vinay Manhas, Mukesh, Dr. Vikesh Kumar, Dr. Rupali Slathia, Dr. Mahak, Inderjeet Singh, Rishiv Sharma, Manjeet Kotwal, Richa Mandla, Vandna Sharma and others.
The chief guest awarded trophies and medals to winner and runner up teams.
