PGTA takes up issues with Advisor

JAMMU, Mar 11: A deputation of J&K Post Graduate Teachers Association (PGTA) led by its Convenor Naresh Kumar met Parvez Dewan, Advisor to Governor and submitted a memorandum in support of their demands for early redressal.
Through memorandum, the delegation demanded cancellation/revision of much controversial promotion list of 1193 teachers as masters issued by Director School Education, release of promotion lists of PG Masters/teachers as lecturers, stop the reservation of posts for promotion as lecturer in 10+2 for the candidates holding invalid PG degrees from off campus/study centres of various open universities through distance mode particularly in sciences.
They also demanded regularisation of ReT/KGBV teachers, cancellation of inter district transfers of teachers made in District Jammu without substitute, removal of pay anomaly of master grade from existing pay band and adjustments of lecturers in 10+2 against their own subject posts but not against the posts of other subjects.
Advisor Parvez Dewan gave patient hearing to the demands.
The delegation comprised of Paramjeet Singh, Pawan Kumar Sharma, Surinder Kumar, Sanjeev Gupta, Shakti Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, Mohinder Paul, Bhushan Gupta, Bharat Bhushan, Naresh Singh, Amit Sharma, etc.
