JAMMU, Feb 18: ITI trained workers of PHE Department have urged upon the State Governor N N Vohra to regularise their services.
A delegation of All J&K PHE ITI Workers Association led by Nissar Ahmed, Tariq Mashoor and Arshid Nazki submitted a memorandum to Governor N N Vohra through his personal secretary Vishaish Mahajan demanding their regularization. They pointed out that, a large number of ITI trained youth were engaged in PHE Department during 2005 but they were not regularized till date. Several representations were sent to the Government but nothing happened.
They pointed out that the wages of the workers are being drawn continuously without any break but they were not regularized. They sought the intervention of Governor into the matter.
