JAMMU, Nov 25: Defeating Law and Geography Departments by (2-0) sets in separate summit clashes, Physical Education Department lifted the men and women Badminton title trophies of the ongoing Inter-Departmental Tournaments, being organised by Chairman Sports Committee, University of Jammu at Varsity Campus, here.
The Chess men and women titles were bagged by the Business School and MCA Department by defeating Geography and MCA Departments respectively. The Business School drubbed Geography Department by (2-0) in the men’s section, while MCA Department trounced the Law School by (2-1) in women’s section.
Meanwhile, in the five Volleyball matches played today, SHTM beat Sanskrit by (2-1), MCA trounced Law School by (2-0), History prevailed over Physics by (2-0), Library Science got the better of Geography Department by (2-0) and Economics Department defeated Urdu Department by (2-1) sets.
