JAMMU, Nov 1: Third edition of Pinkathon Day was celebrated with enthusiasm today by Pinkathon Jammu wherein women of Jammu along with their family members participated in run and ride of various distance.
The same event was also celebrated globally today on same day at same time to promote fitness and health for all in general and women in particular across 77 cities in India and other countries.
More than 20000 women and their families participated in the event to showcase their solidarity to promote the cause of positivity in progress and good heath for all, beginning from women themselves. The concept of Pinkathon day is the brain child of super model, Milind Soman.
In Jammu, about 100 participants with the age group ranging from 5yrs to 70 yrs participated in the event. Medals and medicinal plants were distributed to the finishers after the event.
Kanupriya Garg, Pinkathon Ambassador Jammu (Gandhi Nagar) organized this run and ride event here along with volunteers Zin Shalini Gupta, Shipra Aggarwal, Vasudha Samnotra , Sona Mehta, Reena Jain and Soonam Reen.
