POONCH, Oct 20: Pinto Club, Kalai Club and Manjeet Singh Club smashed rivals in their respective matches and sailed into the next round of the Volleyball Tournament, being organized by 93 Infantry Brigade in collaboration with district unit of the Sports Council under Operation Sadhbhavna at Sports Stadium, here today.
In the first match, Pinto Club thrashed LoC Club Sawjian by 2-1 sets, whereas in the second match, Kalai Club registered win over GHSS Chandak by 2-1 sets and in the third game, GDC Poonch lost to Manjeet Singh Club by 2-1 sets.
The matches were officiated by Neeraj Sharma, VFI Referee, Sourav Sharma, Jatinder Pal, Rajinder Singh, TS Toofan, Narinder Singh and Vijay Kumar.
The tournament is being conducted under the supervision of Nirdosh Kumar, Incharge Sports Stadium Poonch.
