JAMMU, May 27: Pir Baba Choor Shah organized Dangal at Village Chorli, Bishnah, here today.
The annual dangal was organized in the memory of Pir Baba Chung Shah by the Pir Baba Choor Shah Dangle Committee. Dwarka Nath Chaudhary, was the chief guest on the occasion, who felicitated the winners and runners-up wrestlers.
The wrestlers from Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and Delhi took part in the event to vie for the top honours. The winners were awarded with cash prizes by the Dangle Committee.
A total of two lakh cash amount was distributed among the Wrestlers on the occasion.
Dangal Committee’s President Sagar Singh Charak presented vote of thanks, while prominent among other members present on the occasion were Rashpal Singh Charak, Suram Singh, Sarpanch Paramjeet Singh, Sonu Kumar, Sushil Singh Charak , Raman Verma, Sethi Digra, Pawan Mehra and Deepak Kumar.
