There can be no compromise on the issue of terrorism and violence. This was stated by a visiting delegation of EU to the leaders of Panun Kashmir who met them in New Delhi.
The delegation members led by Friederike Tschampa, first Counselor and head of Political Affairs, Delegation of the EU to India told the PK leadership that EU keep on getting the feed back from the relevant quarters regarding Kashmir and its presentation will also have its appropriate assessment and evaluation. The meeting ended with the presentation of the book Kashmir Documentation Pandits in Exile by PK members to the delegation.
The PK, which gave a memorandum to the delegation stated that the minority Kashmiri Pandit community are the indigenous people of Kashmir and are the primary and first stakeholders to the land of Kashmir.
It said that KPs and Kashmiri Sikhs are the first victims of human rights violations, genocide and ethnic cleansing in the Valley of Kashmir at the hands of the Islamic terrorists and the fundamentalist forces who are living refugees in their own country for last 28 years. This is un parallel in the recent history of mankind , it added.
Accusing Pakistan, the PK informed the delegation that Pakistan and ISI role in Kashmir for death, destruction and cross border terrorism is a glaring unfortunate fact and its role needs no proof bigger than the banishment of the half a million original inhabitants of Kashmir-the KPs who became targets of the hate crimes in Kashmir because of their different belief.
The memorandum said that complete Islamization and radicalization of society in Kashmir spearheaded by the Hurriyat led to mass exodus of the community during 1989-90 and the façade of Azadi in Kashmir is a name and platform for Pan Islamization through the instruments of terrorism and genocide.
The memorandum further said that the Pakistan has been misusing the territory of J&K State illegally occupied by it for nurturing terror infrastructure and terror training programmes against India.
It said that since the world is under serious threat of terror, radicalization and the calls for Nizam-e-Mustafa and India being an important global partner to eradicate terrorism from the world assumes greater role to aware and share the world opinion regarding the menace of terrorism and its after effects on the humanity at large.
It said the KPs the first victim of terrorism in Valley have articulated their geo-political aspirations in 1991 in the shape of a demand of homeland in the Valley of Kashmir where there will be full and free flow of the Indian Constitution.
