JAMMU, Dec 25: Panun Kashmir (PK) in its meeting here today decided to accelerate the struggle for the homeland with Union Territory status by launching a nation-wide movement in this regard.
The PK which held a meeting here, today under the chairmanship of its general secretary, Kuldeep Raina said that on December 28 in 1991 the PK had publicly demanded separate homeland for Kashmiri Hindus in the Valley who were forced to quit Kashmir by the fundamentalist forces and trigger happy militants supported by Pakistan.
He said that PK’s theory of homeland has a logic behind it as the majority community in Valley totally rejected the composite culture. He said on the Homeland Day hundreds of PK activists will take a solemn oath to take the struggle to its logical conclusion as was enshrined in the Margdarshan resolution.
He said the KPs term the Margdarshan resolution the only solution to reverse the genocide and holocaust of the community.
He said during the Homeland Day the community problems including that of Jagti inmates and those of the other camps will also be highlighted with force.
