UDHAMPUR, Jan 28: Under project Udaan, Gumbi Software Private Limited conducted placement drive at Government Degree College (Boys) here today.
Diwaker Raj from Gumbi Software Private Limited conducted the drive.
The placement drive started with an objective test, followed by personal interview of the students.
28 students were short-listed in Phase-I and the final selected list of students will be notified within week.
While speaking, Diwakar Singh said that Gumbi Software Private Limited is a Bangalore based Company. Gumbi were honoured with MSME National Award 2010 in special recognition for outstanding performance in MSME sector, he added.
“We are also one of the fastest growing technology companies having rich expertise in IT and ITES and consulting services across several industries said the placement officer of the company”, Singh said.
Principal of the College Prof SS Bhalwal emphasized on the role of private sector in providing employment opportunities to educate youth not only in urban areas but also in the very remote and far flung areas of J&K.
He motivated students to attain maximum benefits from various schemes like Udaan.
