JAMMU, May 15: In a major ongoing campus placement held in IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Domana, two students from Mechanical Engineering Department got selected in Harley-Davidson Company, Gurgaon, besides 11 students from Computer, IT and Electronics and Communication Departments got shortlisted for Companies like HCL and Wipro as Technical Support Officers.
Er Ajay Singh Jamwal, Dean (Adm) cum Training Placement asserted that number of students who got selected under UDAAN Project now subsequently got placed in National as well as Multinational Companies after completing their trainings with different companies. Prof K G Gupta, Principal, IECS Polytechnic asserted that such kind of placement drive was need of hour to eradicate unemployment from society and embarked new job avenues for polytechnic students.
