JAMMU, Mar 2: Platinum Hockey Club defeated Aries-7 by two goals to nil (2-0) in the ongoing Junior Women Hockey Championship, being organized by Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Stadium, here.
Baljit Kour and Chitra Bhadur were the goal scorers, who netted them in 25th and 45th minutes respectively.
Pilar Sinha from Maxico was the chief guest on the occasion, while Sirish-N-Sinha was the guest of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rajinder Singh, treasurer Hockey India, GS Bakshi, general secretary Hockey J&K.
The match was officiated by Karanjit Singh, Jagjit Singh, Joginder Singh and Dilbir Mehta.
