It is to bring in the notice of the BOPEE authorities that candidates who have to submit applications at Bahu Plaza, Jammu suffer a lot due to mismanagement by the BOPEE.
Firstly, it may be submitted that the late fee of Rs 1000 is too harsh in case an applicant fails to submit application on due date. Besides, one who does not collect Admit Card within time, he is charged Rs 750 as late fees.
This procedure is quite harsh particularly with those coming from far off place. The BOPEE need to do away with this procedure.
In future, it should ask applicants to submit forms at district level making it convenient for thousands of candidates hailing from remote areas. It has also been observed that there are no proper arrangements for sitting or for drinking water for candidates at Bahu Plaza. It becomes difficult to stand for long hours in the queue without water.
The BOPEE authorities should look into the matter at the earliest.
