Plus Two Lecturers seek creation of Vice Principal posts

JAMMU, June 6: The first offline meeting of newly elected body of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers’ Forum was held today at DIET Jammu under the chairmanship of R S Slathia and presidentship of Pardeep Singh Rakwal.Besides,the members of Central Executive Body,the representatives from other districts like Ramban, Kathua, Udhampur, Samba and Jammu were also present in the meeting.
Provincial president Pardeep Singh Rakwal advised new body to work hard to achieve the unaccomplished tasks of the cadre.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by the General Secretary Ghar Singh Saini.Chief Spokesperson and seniormost cadre member Jyoti Parkash also addressed the gathering. Dr Ashok Sharma (Vice President), Kamal Lal (Chief Organiser), Khateeb Ahmed(Distt.President Ramban) and Sohan Singh Chib also addressed the gathering.
Subash Chander(District President Reasi) stressed upon the need to consider the cases of displaced lecturers and adjustment of aggrieved lecturers suitably.
Khateeb Ahmed stressed upon the need to fill up the vacant posts of Principals.He also laid stress on revising the rates of BOSE exam duty. He suggested that examination material parcel can be submitted in Sub branches of Post office.
Sohan Singh Chib was given additional responsibility of District President Jammu as the newly elected District President Jammu is not keeping good health.He suggested that branch office of JKBOSE should be opened in R S Pura Tehsil as it has large feeding area and GBHSS,RS Pura should be declared a Heritage School.
Various core issues were also discussed including non vocational Status, creation of Vice Principal Posts in Higher Secondary schools, reviving of college quota in favour of plus two lecturers,transfer of lecturers appointed under SRO 202, repatriation of Lecturers of Physics and Botany posted in Leh and Kargil as the Lecturers of other subjects have already been repatriated etc.
Prominent among those present include Jyoti Prakash (Chief Spokes person/Advisor), Subash Kumar (District President Reasi), Khateeb Ahmad(District President Ramban) Dr Ashok Sharma (Vice President male),Ghar Singh Saini (General secretary), Renu Langae (Female vice President), Dr Sushma (Vice chairman), Kamal Kishore,Ramesh Chander and others.
