NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today presented certificates to innovative officers of the Indian Army during “At-Home function” hosted by Army Chief General Dalbir Singh on the 68th Army Day.
The certificates were presented to the officers for unique innovations done by these officers, in areas such as communications, counter-terror operations and simulation.
The reception was attended by President Pranab Mukherjee in his capacity of the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces.
Vice-President Hamid Ansari, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, several cabinet ministers, including Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad were also present. (AGENCIES)
