PM reaches Kyrgyzstan, hopes to deepen ties

BISHKEK (Kyrgyzstan):Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on the penultimate stop of his whirlwind Central Asian tour.    Mr Modi was received by Kyrgyzstan Prime Minister Temir Sariyev at Manas International airport shortly before midnight last night.
”Its never too late for a warm welcome. PM @narendramodi received by PM Sariyev of Kyrgyzstan shortly before midnight,” Vikas Swarup, spokesperson for External Affairs Ministry, said in a tweet.       Mr Modi also announced his arrival in Bishkek through his twitter handle.
“Reached Kyrgyzstan. I am optimistic of a very good visit, one that will enhance ties between our Nations,” he said.       The Prime Minister has reached here after wrapping up his visit to Turkmenistan, which he described as “memorable”.
“We have achieved substantial progress in deepening cooperation between our nations,” Mr Modi said.     In the last leg of his Central Asian and Russia tour, Mr Modi will travel to Tajikistan, before flying back home.  (AGENCIES)
