PM taking keen interest in development of J&K: Manhas

JAMMU, Apr 20: Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas, reiterated that development work in State would be executed on fast track basis. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking keen interest to develop Jammu and Kashmir on modern lines.
Manhas was speaking during laying the foundation stone of lane and drain works in presence of Jammu Municipality officials and local people at Suraksha Vihar, Top Paloura today.
Manhas highlighted the problems being faced by resident of Suraksha Vihar due to improper lanes and drainage system. By laying the foundation of lane and drain the MP fulfilled the pending demand of people of Suraksha Vihar.
Manhas reiterated that he is committed to overall development of the State. He said that many development works have been started from MPLAD fund from last year and utilized full funds. He said Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi has started many welfare schemes for people of India. He asked people of the State to join hands for development and social upliftment of society and without people’s support the aspirations of public can’t be fulfilled.
Mr Manhas reiterated that he will come to the expectations of people and try his best to remain available to redress the grievances of people of Jammu region. Prominent people of Paloura also spoke on this occasion and complimented MP for his laudable efforts to provide better connectivity. On this occasion AEE Municipality JP Saraf, AEE Rajeev Pandoh, JE Vinay Arora, Contractor Sonu Bhau, Market Association President Ajit S. Langeh, Bahadur Singh Manhas, Uttam Singh Manhas, Sanjay Singh, and prominent people of area were also present.
