JAMMU, Sept 18: Punjab National Bank (PNB), Circle Office Jammu, has bagged 2nd prize in prestigious ‘Lala Lajpat Rai Rajbhasha (LLRR) Shield Competition’ for excellent performance towards implementation of Hindi in Bank for the year 2012-13.
The prizes were distributed by Executive Directors of the Bank, Rakesh Sethi and S R Bansal in a grand function at Central Staff College, New Delhi.
Mohd Lateef Mir, Deputy General Manager and Head of J&K Circle, received shield whereas Jagdish Lal Bangotra, Senior Manager, Rajbhasha, received certificate in this regard.
Apart from this, Ramesh Chander Bhatt of J&K Circle received 1st prize in All India Inter Bank Hindi Essay Competition and 2nd prize in Picture Story.
S R Sharma, Field General Manager, PNB, New Delhi, G S Chauhan, General Manager, large number of chief managers, and senior manager were present at the function.
