JAMMU, July 3: Up in arms against alleged violation of transfer roaster, Punjab National Bank Officers Association today held a protest demonstration at its Circle Office, here today.
The protesting Bank officers raised slogans against the Circle Head M L Mir and accused him of adopting vindictive attitude in transferring the officers before completion of their specified stay at branches/offices after one year or so.
While addressing the protesters, the Association leaders alleged that the Circle Head Management was trying to create regional conflict by its actions against a particular community for the reasons best known to them. They also asked the management to settle the problem at the earliest to maintain cordial MR relations in the circle.
Those who addressed the gathering, included Comrade Vinod Kumar, Comrade V K Dutta and Comrade Ashwani Pradhan.
The Association announced to proceed further on agitational path against the Circle management over its adamancy and favouritism in accommodating the blue eyed persons in complete violation of the roaster.
