JAMMU, Sept 8: Youth Talent Search Forum today organised a poem recitation competition at SD Tara Puri Public School, Gandhi Nagar, in which class Ist students from various schools participated.
In poem recitation English, Jannat of Alexander Memorial School secured first position, while, Mishit Sharma of Stephens School and Riya Sharma of SD Tara Puri Public School, bagged second and third positions respectively.
In poem recitation Hindi, Pranab and Ekta of SD Tara Puri Public School shared first position, while, Ashish Bhagat of Lawrence Public School, secured second position. The third position was shared by Bhadrakshi of DHSS and Bhumika of JK Montessorie School.
During the competition, Dr Champa Sharma, Ex HOD in Dogri Department and Jugal Kishore Puri, Lecturer in Hindi, Gandhi Nagar College, were the jury members, who adjudged the performance of the students.
At the end, Neeru Puri, Principal of SD Tara Puri Public School presented vote of thanks.
