Srinagar, Dec 16: Police today detained Manager of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in district Ganderbal after a youth who was wanted in many criminal cases escaped from the Bank.
Police said that a wanted stone pelter, Tariq Ahmad Bhat of Kurhama, was trapped by police in the Bank at Barusa, in Ganderbal today. Police said that Bank Manager; the employees of the Bank and customers prevented the police from arresting Bhat. Police later detained the Manager. However, he was later let off.
