KATHUA, Dec 22: The 11th Police Martyr’s Memorial North Zone T-20 Cricket Championship, organised by Police entered Day-4 at Sports Stadium, here today.
The first match was played between DPS Himachal and GSI Tiger Srinagar, wherein DPS Himachal team won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 93 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Ishan made 30 runs, while Kartik scored 23 runs. In reply, GSI Tiger Srinagar easily chased the target in just 10.1 overs while losing 2 wickets and registered 8 wickets win. Vaibhav scored 39 runs and was declared as man of the match.
The second match was played between KKR Marheen CC and LB Shastri CC wherein KKR Marheen won the toss and chose to bat first and gave the target of 133 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Tarun Sareen was the main scorer for KKR Marheen who scored 26 runs, while Hareen Goyal made18 runs.
In reply, Shastri CC chased the set target by losing 7 wickets and registered 3 wickets win over KKR Marheen. Tejas Dahiya scored 56 runs in 45 balls and Arjun made 29 runs in 24 deliveries. Tejas Dahiya was declared as man of the match for his outstanding batting.
