KATHUA, Dec 20: Police Martyrs Memorial T-20 tournament, organised by Police, entered Day-2 at Sports Stadium, here today.
The two matches were played today wherein the first match was played between Sabhi-IV and GSI Srinagar, while 2nd match was played between Haryana-C Academy and DPS Himachal.
Sabhi IV won the toss and elected to bat firs, they scored 157 runs by losing 2 wickets in 20 overs. Dhruv Singh made 72 runs in 69 balls, studded seven boundaries and six.
In reply, GSI Srinagar bundled out at 98 runs in 15.3 overs and lost the match by 59 runs. Vivek took 4 wickets and was declared as man of the match.
The 2nd match was played between Haryana C Academy defeated DPS Himachal by 15runs, wherein Haryana C Academy won the toss and chose to bat first and scored 105 runs by losing all wickets in 16.4 overs. In reply, DPS was all out at 90 runs with one ball remaining. Prateek scored 27 runs in 28 balls with the help of 4 boundaries, whereas Rounak was declared as man of the match for his brilliant bowling spell.
