Police organises Volleyball tournament

RAMBAN, Oct 11: A Volleyball tournament under the banner of ‘Khelo Khel Bhoolo Nasha’, organised by Range Headquarter Batote, concluded at Neel, here today.
The tournament began on October 1 and culminated today in which 16 teams and around 150 players from the adjoining areas competed for the title.
The final match was graced by the DIG DKR Range Batote, Sunil Gupta IPS and SP Ramban, Mohita Sharma along with other prominent personalities of the area.
The final match also witnessed great enthusiasm amongst finalists and both teams displayed a great zeal on the ground. The winning team MC Star received a cash prize of Rs 10000 along with a scintillating trophy, while runners up ‘Rising Stars’ bagged the cash prize of Rs5000 with an attractive trophy.
Naseer Drabu was declared man of the Match and Muzaffar was adjudged man of the tournament for their exemplary show on the field.
The DIG and SP Ramban felicitated the participants and also encouraged the youth to participate more in such events.
