KULGAM, Mar 20: Police organized a sports event under its Civic Action Program (CAP) in the campus of Shemford School at Wanpoh in Kulgam district today.
A Police spokesman said the Function was formally inaugurated by the Principal Shemford School, DySP DAR Kulgam, DySP PC Mirbazar and SHO PS Qoimoh.
He said youth from various villages participated in various sports activities like volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess & carom on knock-out basis.
“On the occasion all the participants were welcomed by the officers and were assured to provide every type of assistance. The event was organized to inculcate spirit of sportsmanship & competition among the participants,” he said.
