JAMMU, Mar 31: Under Civic Action Programme, sports items were presented to Government Middle School, Ratnu Chak by Police Station Gangyal, under the supervision of SP South, Shaazad Salaria, here.
SDPO City South, Sachin Gupta and SHO Police Station Gangyal, Inspector Aejaz Wani distributed the sports items, which included Racquets, Basketballs, Skipping Ropes and Volleyballs etc.
The function was also attended by Principal, Romesh Chander Sharma, ZEO Parmandal Zone, Zarina Sheikh, ZEPO Shiv Nath and Sarpanch of the area, Yash Pal Singh.
Meanwhile, under the directions of Police Headquarter J&K, a Volleyball tournament was organized by SDPO Domana, Surinder Sharma at Government Higher Secondary School, Domana, under the Civic Action Programme. SHO Domana, Rajeshwar Slathia also attended the function.
Six teams from Ghou Manhasan, Gole Gujral, Jhiri, Kanachak, Muthi and Gajansoo participated in the tournament. The teams of Gho Manhasan and Jhiri entered the finals. All the teams were provided uniforms and refreshment during the tournament.
