Police Public Cricket Premier League from Apr 16 ‘Seven teams confirm entries in PPCPL, owners can buy teams till Mar 30′

JAMMU, Mar 28: Shakeel Beig DIG Jammu and general secretary of the cricketing extravaganza- Police Public Cricket Premier League disclosed that Jammu and Kashmir Police, under the overall supervision of DGP, Jammu & Kashmir Police is going to conduct “Police Public Cricket Premier League for J&K cricketers” on the pattern of IPL from April 16, 2015 at Jammu, with an objective to promote sports culture in the state and help players to feel the aroma of IPL.
DIG Jammu further said that the teams which confirmed their participation in the said league included Simula Superstars owned by Hilal Rather M D.Simula Group; Ishar Daredevils owned by Sanjeev Pavit Singh (Businessman); Jammu Khalsa Kings Eleven, owned by Avtar Singh Khalsa (Businessman); Jammu Royal Choice Eleven owned by S. Sukhwinder Singh (Businessman); Mirza Gladiators owned by Ahsan Mirza (Srinagar);  Bhaderwah Greens owned by Shafkat Baba and the JKP Tigers.
“Registration is open for the owners to purchase the teams by or before March 30,2015.” positively.
Rajesh Gill, former Ranji Player and the organizing secretary of the Tournament informed that the trials for selection of the players will be conducted at Bhaderwah on April 6 by Rajesh Gill, Sameer Malik and Shafkat Baba, at Udhampur on April 7 by Rajesh Gill, Vinay Gupta, Vivek Sharma, Dy.S.P Pawan Sharma, at Rajouri on April 8 by Rajesh Gill, DySP DAR and Satwant Singh, at Kathua on April 9 by Rajesh Gill, Surinder Singh Bagal, Vivek Sharma, Deeraj Gupta, Inspector Ragubhir Singh and at Jammu on April 10 by RK Bhat, Rajesh Gill, Shahid Parvez, Ashwani Gupta and Rajesh Dhar.
The organizing secretary also disclosed that  the 12 teams will take part in this tournament and the total amount of Rs.19.32 lack will be awarded as cash prizes in this tournament which includes  Rs 5 lakh for winner team, 3 lakh for runner-up team, 2 lakh for third place and 1.5 lakh for 4th place team.
“Winner of each match will receive Rs10,000 man of the series Rs 50,000, best batsman Rs 25,000, best bowler Rs 25,000, most sixes in a match Rs 2,000, man of the match in every match Rs 3,000 and best catch Rs 1000.
