JAMMU, Aug 1: Panjtirthi police reunited a missing man with his family.
As per police sources, on July 28 this year, Incharge Police Post Panjtirthi while on Amarnath Yatra duty near Manda naka found a person roaming suspiciously.
On questioning, the man was found mentally unsound and was taken to Police Post Panjtirthi. Later, the man was identified as Sumankar Jha (40), son of Majouma Jha of District Samastipur, Bihar.
Incharge Police Post Panjtirthi made strenuous efforts, approached the Police Station Waini and verified the whereabouts of the said person. Accordingly, his parents were informed through concerned Police Station.
The man’s real brother reached Police Post Panjtirthi and told that his brother was missing from home since past two years.
After completing necessary formalities, the man handed over to his legal heirs.
