SAMBA, Mar 1: Police here today foiled an attempt to smuggle bovines and rescued two of them.
A Police Party of Police Post Rakh Amb Talli during vehicle checking stopped a vehicle of Scorpio make bearing number PB07T-6866 but it sped away and crossed the police checking area.
Cops intercepted the vehicle few meters away and during its checking found two bovines loaded in it and were being transported illegally.
In this regard, a case U/S 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act was registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
